Maybe EFE is the military hardware purchaser for Turkey and wants to up grade their arsenal before crossing the border.0 -
I think you would have quite a bit of trouble importing a rifle from the U.S.
I do not know all the procedures, I am sure somebody on the forum does know the process, hopefully they will give you the scoop.
By the way, I have a Turkish Mauser, not a model 98, it is a model 93, but shoots 8mm.
It was made in Germany but rebarreled in Turkey. Great rifle.0 -
