He is a senator, and a presidential candidate for 2008.

And, again, that is why he will never make it. Hardly anyone knows who he is and he does not know how to fix that.

He does not have the charisma or media personality to get very far in my opinion. Most of the other Republican candidates are in the same boat.

He is the only candidate with integrity IMHP.
Being unknown can be cured, and he has a year.5 to get known.

Is there any other candidate that understands the constitution as well as him?

He does and will protect your 1,2,4,amendment rights, and the rest too.That is somthing the current admin has not done,and if the current republican cabal retains power you will lose rights allmost as fast as if the demicraps won.

He would close the borders.

He is not perfect, but better than the rest by a long shot

Isn't he more of a Libertarian? And a Representative instead of a Senator?
