    I liked it, but I lived in Boston for 3 years and enjoyed the trip down memory lane as I haven't been back in a long while. If not for that I probably would have been (more) bored.

    I liked it alot but I kinda like Matt Damon as a actor. The Bourne Movies are up there for me then good will hunting and rounders. I thought the departed great but there is a lot of bad language definitly cant watch it with kids around.

    Watched it last night, good movie. Stay with it like gunoperator said, it twists. Sorry 'bout the other guys ruinin' alot of it for you.[xx(][}:)][:(!] Doncha jest hate that?!?!?

    I will admit it did end different than I had hoped.

    Good movie. Premise farfetched. Various subplots (pregnancy, FBI informant aspect) not fully developed. Casting first rate with all players delivering. Camera work good.

    No nudity. Language nothing worse than the "F" word. Lots of close up head shots and killing with blood spray so probably not good for little kids.

    Worth buying the DVD as it was Best Picture winner.

    Not surprised it won best picture at the commie awards.
    Most of the other winners were only seen by 50 people, Departed may have been seen by 150.

    Good action movie but my wife and I don't see how it won best picture.


    BTW-Matt Damon is currently in DC filming Bourne III.

    It was all of the info that Jack Nicholson's lawyer gave to Dicaprio (stating that Damon was the the mob's "mole")...the shrink gave it to Wahlberg...which is why Wahlberg capped Damon.

    People that say there was no plot need to pay better attention to the movie. The movie had a good plot about a kid(s) growing up without his father. One thing I missed the first time I watched the movie was who killed Billy Costigan's father. The movie is a little far fetched and the ending is killer, no pun intended.

    The brown envelop had all the information from the lawyer in it. This was said sometime near the end or implied that it was the lawyers stuff.
