Screen (crt) question...COMPUTER
Often when I click on a topic, it will come up fitting my frame, then blink and stretch itself out.
I have a 19" flat panel with the resolution set to 800X600. My old eyes need to have it set like this in order to see it. If I set it to 1080 X whatever, it all fits, but I can't read it.
Can anyone help me, please ??
Thank you.
Doug

You're probably going to need to bump up to 1024 X 768 at least,........then enlarge your screen fonts so you can still read it .
I also have a 19" flat screen, and that is the rez I run, but can still read the normal font size.0 -
set it to whatever works for you, and fits
then if you need to zoom in- hold CRTL and press the + sign (usually by backspace or on numpad) Hope it works!!!!!!!!!!0 -
Doug, you can adjust your font size in browser and for the system in general. Depending on the browser you use, you can "zoom" in: in IE, it's "View"->"Text Size", in Firefox it's just CTRL +/- to enlarge or shrink text font.
for the system, right click on the desktop anywhere and choose properties, then go to Settings tab and click "Advanced" button. A new window will pop up and there'll be a drop down "DPI Setting", just choose "Large size" and you should have good size fonts for everything on the system. it might or might not require a reboot after that.0 -
All LCD panels should be run at their native resolution, no more, no less. This will yield the best quality. 0 -

Good point. 19" is either 1024x768 or 1280x1024, but still, if you have hard time seeing things and reading text just make your DPI size larger.0 -
Thank you, gentlemen.
Problem solved.
