    I don't know, really, but I think that's where Algore got the idea for his. And this guys got shafted as I don't think they got a nobel prize for their efforts, did they?

    Two things I remember when this movie came out. First Dennis Quade was on all the talk shows being asked questions as if he was some kind of weather or climate expert. I kept shouting, to no-one in particular, he's a !$!@$@#$%$% actor for crying out loud. He knows nothing about the climate. Second I went because I wanted to see the special effects. When it was over a guy next to me asked what I thought of it. I said it makes me want to jump into my SUV and burn some petrol chemicals which I intend to do right now. Then I left.

    I remember that! The parallels are so clear too, I am amazed at the amount of geniuses I run into lately that "saw THE movie" (I am talking about Algore, Inc's piece of garbage) and are now experts in climatology, meteorology and are absolutely sure that "we have to do something". [xx(][xx(]

    Even if manmade global warming isn't real, isn't the goal of reducing pollution and ending our reliance on foreign oil a noble pursuit anyways? Doesn't God want us to be responsible shepherds of creation? Pumping tons of pollutants into our air, water and soil is not what I would call being responsible with the biosphere that we are totally reliant on to keep us alive.

    Do you enjoy filling up your truck at the gas pumps, knowing that some of YOUR money is going back to Saudi Arabia? I'm all for green technology, because an energy self-sufficient United States is good for all of us.
