you should be good to go until gas hits about 12$ a gallon
looks good0 -
Still looks brand new.[8D]
Did you get the fuel mixture problem solved?0 -

Is that a propeller?! [:D]0 -
The idle was set to 1600rpm at the dealer. Its idle should be about 2100-2200. It runs great now. It just sucks I had to waste a 1/2 tank of gas in the truck for the dealer trip.
No, that's not a propeller. It's a wagon wheel. I was at my Aunt's for the pictures. Her road had about 2" of gravel on it. That raised the pucker factor to 10 when I almost dumped it.
110mi and counting so far on a 1/2 tank. [:D]0 -

maybe not, but road rash is road rash [B)] esp. in the gravel [B)][B)][V] ...dumped a husky 500 at 60+ on a gravel road once...4 days in icu was not a picnic either[:(] Loko [8D]...can you say "imbedded limestone" ouch!!!!!!!0 -
Hey Aspen79se!
The road between Manhatten and Topeka isn't gravel ... ya going to make it for the gunshow this weekend?
BTW ... I get a little better than 110 miles to 1/2 tank of gas in my truck!
(of course I have a 17 gallon tank [:o)])0 -
I road my 74 Vespa Rally 200 to work saterday .
Had a guy on a Harley pull along side me and gave me a smile and a thumbs up .
Shouted at him " Wanta trade ? "
Another big smile as he opened the throttle and blew away .
I do like your scoot Aspen and would ride it everyday .
Hard for me to buy new though . I still find old scoots have value and are worth fixing up .
How can you taste the bugs though with that screen [:)] ?

Just be careful out there. Most driver don't see or ignore motorcycles. You are even smaller. Looks like a fun mode of transportation. 0 -
Looks like a nice ride!
Ride safe and often![:0][:0]0 -
I'm riding this thing till it snows. I wanted a brighter color, but gray was all that was there. They had a BV200 in red when I went in for repairs. I'm confident this thing will do 90mph. I'm not going on the interstate with it though. It's too light for that road. 0 -
Did you get snow tires and tire chains for the winter driving? 0 -
NO NEED TO PARK IT when the snow flies i have seen them run motorcycles on ice 0 -
did the dealer have one of these?

Yes, they did have one of the MP3s. The wheels lock together below 5mph or 3K rpm. Above that and they automatically unlock. It rides just like a two-wheeler at speed. But, at almost 8K, and only 250 or 500cc, I didn't think it was THAT great. I would get a Bergman Ex650 for less. It is an engineering marvel though. I heard Piaggio (they make the BV250) spent 8 years on R&D for it. I also hear they have an 850cc coming out.0 -
Hard to imagine something like that riding like a 2 wheeler. Looks scarey. 0 -
Spryor: I agree. Piaggio has action pictures on the web. They show it leaning like one. And, the one I saw did the same in person. It's impressive to say the least. 0 -
Boss sent me a photo tonight , said he was going to lay the scoot over and pull up till his tire touched mine , making it look like he ran over it .
I washed it when I got off , it was pretty dusty .
Some of you I'm sure have never seen a Lamborgini like that one .
It's a 1987 LM002 , it's been rumored Hummer stole borrowed many ideas when building theirs .
I'm still thinking about what color/colors to paint mine . Don't care much for the factory color .

I was gonna get one of these but it was a crappy ride [xx(]

I remember the Lamborgini LM well. It came with tires that had a flange that came out of the sidewall to help keep it on top of sandy terrain.
Is it yours?
Love to have one...0 -

Nothin wrong starting with a scooter ..... soon you will move up to a Harley Davidson! [^][^][;)]
Why would I do that, when I can buy a bike that runs? [:D]0
