I'm a proud grandpa........UPDATE

My oldest granddaughter showed her pig "Oreo" at the fair last night and walked away with 1st prize in her weight class.(4H) Tonight she shows him in the Grand Champion Class. Please wish her luck. [:)][:)]

    She worked long hours with him. He couldn't be more then 280lbs at weigh in and he weighed in at 278!! She was worried. [:)][:)]

    Sounds like that last minute diet worked[:o)] Let us know how she does in the Grand Champion Class.

    Showed tonight, but didn't make Grand Champion or Reserve Grand Champion. Came in third overall. Still pretty good for a first time. [:)][:)] A few tears fell from my granddaughters pretty blue eyes that nearly broke my heart, but they quickly faded away, because she is a tough little gal. All she said was, "Next year we will win, grandpa". That's when I almost lost it.....

    Rider, your grandaughter is wise beyond her years, with a spirt like she has there is nothing she will not be able to accomplish. Third over all is nothing to snease at, she should be proud of her accomplishment. Let us know how the sale goes.
