Back from the ice storm

Got hit with freezing rain this last weekend, have been without power from Sun. morning early till 4:30 this afternoon (Wed). Man oh man did that suck.[xx(][:(]

Got a generator from work on Tue. and got by with a coupla space heaters. House is total electric and no fireplace so it was a bit chilly till the heaters caught up. I have several deer hides that have the hair on, they came in quite handy as blankets. The wife looked around the room last night by candlelight and saw her/our 4 yr old daughter, and the 9 yr old boy snuggled up under their own hides and made the statement that never in a million years did she imagine her children using deer hides for blankets.[:D][;)]

I will be getting a good sized generator of my own.

BTW, what did I miss?

    yeah, and thanks he was a little fattie too 8lbs 5oz... he is so cool and knows how to cry for a tit..[:o)]

    I remember we had a severe ice storm back in 02 over here in KY it shut pretty much our whole state down for a couple of weeks, even Lex was shut down for a week... I remember waking to the sound of snapping trees that was almost as wild as having a new son [;)]

    michael, he has a very unoriginal name :| I am a 2nd and he is a 3rd My girlfriend suggested some names and that is why I chose what I did, she likes the name bryce and I don't.
