Jeeze..."depend on the Canadian military" have to be five of the scariest words in the English language.

    Canada has a decent air force, they fly F-18 Hornets.

    Worked with them (RCAF F-18's) at Cope Thunder in '96 and by the end of the exercise I don't they had any that were FMC. Maybe they've changed. Their airlift was even broke down on the ramp. They do like to party though.

    Agreed. (but I thought I'd let you Airmen dogfight that one out) My experience with the CAAF was that they deep-sixed the last combat effective unit they had (Paratrooper Battalion) because of the incident in Somalia. I know there are some Canuck troops from the Socialist Republic of Canadiastan who would LIKE to fight and belong to an effective fighting force...if the politicians would let them.
