    Ford did compare the Granada to a Mercedes in the 70's.

    Ive had similar experiences in my Chevy cruiser, Ive had the speed odometer burried at 120 MPH several times, runnig the Interstate. Last night being one of them, I think everyone was in the Christmas spirit but the the booze sure changed the cheer to anger. We had four different fights between males one very serious, had to Med Flight one guy with head trauma out. And the Sheriffs Office called out their guy with the tracking dog. We caught the other guy and he had no idea how close he came to getting shot by a Deputy who walked up on him in the woods. He was armed but ditched the weapon somewhere in the woods. One guy was threatning suicide and fired a round through the roof of his house so his wife would think he did it. We arrived and no one would come to the door so we kicked the door in and he was fine just peed off over his door getting smashed in. Then the Domestic calls began to come in and it stayed so busy. It always gets bad this time of yr, financial reasons are the biggest cause. I didnt even have a chance to eat on my shift, and I worked 2 hrs of overtime or comp time.
