Bought me a new one today
Well kinda sorta bought a new one. I will pick it up next week when I get paid. But it was the last one in the shop so I had it put away in the back room so it couldn't be sold.
I finally broke down and bought a revolver.
A Taurus M851 snubbie .38 special +p.
I needed a small pocket gun and figured it would fit the bill.[:D]

I just saw one of those in .357 Magnum today when I was at the gun shop. I felt like I was going to break the damn thing.0 -
I like mine now, but I had to put over 100 rounds through it before I was confident that firing it would do me any more good than throwing it. At 25 yards, I was into the second cylinder before I got the first shot on paper.[B)]
Please let us know how your first day at the range with it goes.

They come highly rated and are suppost to be pretty darn good little pistols.
I never have been a revolver person, but I have been strikeing out for larger caliber semi's that will fit in my pocket.
So I desided I would go ahead and get this for that purpose. It will only be for when I am dressed were I cant carry my RIA compact, and except for when I first get it and see how it shoots and such it probly will never get shot.
But in the year since I got my CWP I now feel naked without a gun on me.0 -
If you are in a gunfight witha handgun, and your opponent is 25 yards away, you are in the wrong place.
You should be running like hell, the other direction to get your shotgun or rifle.
I think Taurus makes fine weapons - and they have a lifetime warranty.
Good job.
