Just heard on the radidio that Assam didn't kill him, even though she did hit him.
He committed suicide.
She is still someone to look up to - she stopped the attack.

I agree. If she fired 100 shots at him and didn't kill him, she still stopped him and the world is rid of yet another monster.

The people of the United States are getting a good dose of just how one armed citizen can put a stop to a crazed jackasz hell bent on killing many innocent people.
I do not care if she was a Ex Cop, Hooker or great Christian who stands in good with God.
She made a stand against a criminal element and won.0 -
She disabled the attacker with possible kill shots, so thats what matters.
I am glad the guy ate a bullet and saved the paramedics tha hassle of trying to keep him alive.0 -

Early reports were that he was wearing body armor. Haven't heard anything since.

I couldnt agree more. I wonder how many of the people posting on this topic have ever been involved in an up close armed engagement. The fact is she stood her ground and defeated the threat. It doesnt matter that the last round in his head was his own, he's dead and the world is a better place for it. No brains no headache. Even fatal shots (excluding those to the CNS) will not stop a dedicated individual for several minutes. A good example is the Miami FBI shootout of 1986 when Michael Platt was shot in the heart, and his heart literally exploded but he continued the fire-fight for something like 10 minutes before he colapsed. 0 -
