Henry Mini-Bolt
Looking for some feedback.
My wife and I have a friend whose son has just turned 8 and her second child (daughter) is almost 5. We want to get them started on shooting (started them out with a BB gun) a 22 with us when we are all at the range.
Looked at the Rossi youth single shots, the Crickets and the Minibolt. Liked the feel and sights on the Henry much better than the others.
Have any of you used the Henry (or others) and what is your opinion as a first rifle to teach with.

I would say that, if you like the Henry, get it for him. It's a nice rifle and he will probably hand it down to his kids.
