What is your preference????
No this isn't another handgun vs long gun, what would you rather shoot, well kinda.
Are you a rimfire shooter, small caliber shooter, do ya like the big bores, medium calibers? Rifles, shotguns, pistols???
I really would like to have a 7 RUM or 300 RUM, but don't have a need for one.
I find myself drifting back to the small calibers, 204, 223, 22-250, etc, when deciding on what I want next.
How about you?

I joined a Range this year that has Trap, Skeet, Hi Power 200yrd,100yrd, Pistol Range up to 50yrds and a Air Gun indoor Range. I've been shooting them all except for the Air Gun(do that at home) and you know something I can't tell you witch one I like better. They are all different, and they are all fun for me and my son. So my suggestion is to buy both and shoot both. and have some Fun. 0 -
I have several of what I consider large caliber rifles. 7mag, 308, 30/06 etc. I love shooting them, but they get expensive. I find myself more and more grabbing my Ruger pistol and Winchester rifle in 22. Can shoot and shoot and shoot and not dent wallet at all. 0 -
If ammo cost is no concern I like putting .45's down range from my Sig P220 the best.
I really love what shotguns do and their utility, but they aren't a challenge for me to shoot really.0 -
When I first started shooting it was rimfires then I got into pistols. Eventually I went back to rimfires but this summer I plan to do some distance shooting around 300-500 yards. 0 -
I like both large caliber and small caliber, in my area there is a need for each. The small calibers anything under .24 inch is illegal for large game. That where the 30-06,.308 and 7MM Mag come in. My 22-250,.223 and .204 Ruger come in for the coyote and small varmitss. 0 -
the bulk of my shooting is .22. Other than that, 45 or 44. Im mostly into accurate pistol sooting. 0 -
I am alot like you cubs. I have my larger caliber firearms, but find myself shooting my smaller caliber ones more often.
My rimfires are a blast to shoot and cheap to boot. I tend to reach for my 223 and 243 when it comes to varmints. Have been looking at either the H&R Ultra Varminter (something about a single shot break action being accurate) or the new Savage Predator Hunter in either 204 or 22-250.
The larger calibers are great and all have a use, but too expensive to sit at the range with all day.0 -
I love to shoot 223 and 45ap.
I shoot bolt action rifles for hunting but they are more a tool.
My most enjoyed shooting is My two favorite firearms along with 223 and 45[^]0 -
I mostly shoot the bull. Don 0 -

I never was really sure if that second one was an outhouse or a doghouse?0 -
Magnum rifles, big bore sidearms and .22s for inside the house.
