Latest and greatest
Acouple of years ago, I told you all about how I had gotten a letter "inviting" me to a muster. Went there, things were fine! A year passes and with the ecxeption of a few phone calls, everything is fine. In November of last year, I received a phone call asking me if there was anything that would prevent me from being activated. I explained that I could not re-enlist because of my back and knees, so did that count. Faxed them all of my paperwork, thinking ok, everything is taken care of. NO!!! I then received a FED-EX package informing me that I had to report to Kansas City, MO to see if I was able to be activated. Ended up not having to go, once again faxed them my paperwork and got everything straight.
Don't think I'm b*tching and complaining. It wasn't that there was the possibility of being activated, it was the fact that I wasn't good enough to re-enlist, but I was good enough to come in to do dirty work.
