Opinion's....
I'm a big AK fan, and have a few in 7.62 x 39. I've been debating on an AR type rifle in .223 for quite some time. However, the AR's are slightly more expensive. I've noticed that Saiga has a .223 in a similar variation to the AK, for a very affordable price. I'm just curious as to the accuracy and reliability of the Saiga .223 compared to the AR. I realize, due to the price difference, and the reputation of the AR, the AR is a more modern design and is probably built a little better. Does anyone have any experience with the Saiga in .223. Opinion's will be much appreciated.

My opinion: the .223 round in an AK sucks. 0 -
My opinion: An AK in a .223 is not retarded or gay, but it is the red-headed-step-child of the AK family.
It's not the same as a Colt, but as far as shooting goes, I think it's more enjoyable and accurate than a 7.62.
