Screen width - how to change ??
Most threads/posts fit fine on my display at 800 X 600. However, occasionally one is double the size of the others, and a real pain-in- the-ass to try to read.
How can I fix it ??

Hello Doug,
If you are using Windows XP,
1. click the green "start" tab in the lower left corner of your display
2. click the "Control Panel"
3. click the "appearance and Themes"
4. click the "Change the screen resolution"
5. drag the arrow until it reads "1024 x 768 pixels"
6. click "OK"0 -
Or, on desktop
rightclick
properties
settings
drag the arrow until it reads "1024 x 768 pixels"0 -
Thank you, Bert, but I can't see it at that resolution without squinting and leaning toward the monitor.
I was hoping that maybe there was a way to define when the line of text would auto wrap. Used to be able to do it in DOS.
Ooops, I'm sort of dating myself. Sometimes, I think that's the best date I've ever had.
Rambling.

This usually happens when someone decides to post a gigantic image straight from their camera without resizing it. The forum sizes itself to fit whatever content is placed in it (bad functionality, IMHO), so the only thing you can really do it just grin and bear it. 0 -
Maybe buy a bigger screen![8D] 0 -
That's a good thought, but I've got a 17 & 19 now, and the bigger ones are pretty pricey.
I do have a friend in the electronics biz, though...
Thanks, all.
