Orphan scope...
I purchased, quite awhile ago, a Redfield Widefield in 2-7, and I have been trying to figure out what sort of rifle it would complement.
Can y'all give me some ideas ??

That is about the perfect 22 LR scope for a semi auto. I had one on a 10/22, should have never let go of either.
Or..a large caliber with some grunt. 45/70?0 -
Is the eye relief adjustable enough to put on a Lever Action Scout Rifle?

I had one on a 6mm 742 woodmaster that i carried on the ranch. It was excellent for quick out the door - and on to coyotes. 0 -
The lever guns, the .44 Mag carbine & the 742 sound right to me.
Any other thoughts ?? I was thinking of something vintage, but I don't know what.
