This is maybe the fourth time in my life that it has fallen on Mother's Day.

    Pretty cool, huh ??

Is that people years....or Gun Broker years...cause you know one year on Gun Broker is 11 people years (much like dog years, but more stress and fun involved.)

    Almost forgot....happy B-DAY!!!

Happy Birthday Doug. A Tauris type person!

Did you have a party and eat some Hydrox cookies??

    Note: spacefem.com

Welcome to my hydrox cookie website! A while back, I wrote an article for my website about hydrox cookies and how, even though they tasted better than oreos, everyone thought they were cheap knockoffs. Eventually, they weren't even made anymore.

The article stayed archived on the site, and through the years I kept getting e-mails from all sorts of people who felt the exact same way. They missed Hydrox. Some sent me links to sites that told more of the story, so we could know what happened to our favorite sandwich cookie. The story is a sad one... Sunshine created the original sandwich cookie, Hydrox, only to be ripped off and over-marketed by a competing baker, who called their cookie Oreo. Eventually, America bought into the fact that Hydrox cookies were the generic rip-off and Oreos were the original, the classic. America got bought.

Hydrox cookies are no longer made, but we can remember them, and think about what their story symbolizes. This website is my own little tribute, as well as a place for you to tell us your story about why you miss these simple little sandwich cookies.
