Does anyone know about this? By accident, I happened to catch Imus on the radio yesterday where the show was broadcast from the center's opening dedication. It sounded like a really great thing to me. You might be surprised at some of the donors.

    Kind of disappointing (but, not surprising) that nobody has replied to this post.

    I've never watched Rosie on tv. Imus broadcast from the dedication of the center and he commented that Rosie had actually been there and was very kind and compassionate with the troops. He also said that she had quietly donated $250 or $275 thousand dollars to the project. All I'm saying is that if you want to hate her unconditionally, that's your right. However, she is capable of performing a compassionate act.

    There is a big condition that makes me hate Rosie! Her thoughts on gun control! So I wouldn't call that unconditional!

    If she changes her thoughts I might even go give her a big sloppy kiss(as long as someone blindfolded me with pictures of Gretchen Wilson)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    And if she really did donate that money it was only for a tax write off! I donate alot myself and I am a disabled vet living and raising 2 kids on my disability income and do not deduct a penny of what I donate!

    Plenty of left wing anti-gun organizations for her to donate to just for a tax write-off, as well as others. PETA, Gay/Lesbian Alliance, etc. Could it be that she, as well as many others, can support the troops, but, not the war or the administration? No, I guess that would be impossible.
