I'm waiting for the highs to get into the 70's before I cut anymore.
Have a few gum's and oaks I need to thin out of our yard. I don't look forward to it, unless I have surgery on my shoulder and heal before then.

Sweet Mother of God, be careful!

The last pine tree I cut down tried to kill me.

Man, when I read that sentence, it brought back some memories.
When I was about 7, during the summer my dad and I cleared a sweetgum thicket. My first experience with a chain saw. Daddy laughed at me as I could only run it for a few minutes. It was a Canadian 270 (monster).
When I was 9, we spent that summer cutting moc orange trees(off a place 20 miles from home), and splitting them for fence posts. The next summer we fenced 40 acres.
    Dang that was work.

I miss cutting wood... You should come to FL after the "big" one hits. Lots of wood to chop. You'll be busier than a beaver.

A busy beaver is a happy beaver.
