Internet relationships...
I think that a lot of newbies don't have the slightest idea about the strength of GB members bonds to each other.
I'm not even sure that I do.
Anyone have an explanation for this ??

I especially have a deep love for trolls.
Just like my real family.
I once thought about becoming a troll myself but
stuff canned the idea due to a surplus of trolls already.
I have High aspirations. thats all I know.0 -

When you talk to ppl, the same ppl, every day, share thoughts, jokes, lost loves, pets there is no awkwardness, no shyness, but a very very close bond that surfaces not only in the chat sites but in person as well....
I am sure everyone on here who has met someone in person will tell youu the same thing....you meet and its like meeting a long lost friend where time has stood still....the closeness is still there, the shared interests and hobbies, and you just pick up where the written word left off...
Its human nature to be drawn close and become protective of others we are in daily contact with..there are only a couple of ppl on here I could walk up to, smack them on the head and walk away...but if anyone does it to someone I consider a close friend, they better run like hell....0 -
I stick close because they all owe me money. Especially Don. 0 -
Good thoughts.
We can even ridicule one another with no hard feelings, except for spasmcreek.

you shouldn't have told everyone you're a lawyer [:o)]0 -
Well the first thing I think of is the strong common interest - firearms. If my first wife & I had that we probably still would be married! I have had the pleasure of meeting 4 members in person over the last few years - great guys. Let's not get too secure though. This open forum like any has it's closet a** h***s (as well as a few not so well camouflaged).
Hope to meet many more in the future.0 -
So do I.
It's a great group.
Even the idiots.
I miss HAIRY.
