Home land security
I believe that homeland security begins with us the individual citizens! It realy irks me that I cannot carry my hand gun with me at all times in my vehicle. Living in Pa. and having a C.C.W. is great but Im constantly driving to nearby NY. State to work and Im not allowed a permit to carry over there!
I feel that they should pass a law that when we enter code orange, we should be able to carry our handguns with us any time or anywhere.
They want us to defend ourselves and our country against terrorist, but with what? I know the thought of running into terrorists seems a little far fetched here in Northwestern Pa, but hey Buffalo is not that far away and they arrested suspected terrorist there!
It's pretty sad day when all Id have to protect myself on the way to work is a tire iron!

I heard a fellow say that home land security would like to do away with hand loading. Limit the amount of powder, primers, etc. Is this a story, or another feel-good law that is being consideered? Thanks 0 -
Picked the title subject so maybe they'll look.
Does home land security check the president's passport? Does he have one? Does he ever go through customs?
I voted for him [B)] but I never said he was above the laws I have to obey. Funny how he stuck us with his morals ( well what few he has ). I'm 61 and i"m NOT going to learn spanish. If these Companys want my buisnes they'll just have to quit asking me to press 1. Think about it they tell you in english, How are you to under stand them if you don't speak english anyway?0 -
Part of me says "let 'em keep on speaking Spanish." I only say that because the greedy dispassionate side of me wants to keep them second-class non-citizens. After all, how many successful people in America don't know how to speak English?
Of course, the angry side of me says "it's MY country, YOU learn MY language!"

The point is I'm just to old to change now. Besides I'm allso stubern to a fault. What if the next group to invade American are Russian or Serbs. How about the vietmeese start crying and marching so now we've got to learn their language. Amnisty For the ONE WORLD NATION..
