Inhofe: Clinton, Boxer Want to Squash Conservative Radio Talk Shows

Sens. Hillary Clinton and Barbara Boxer have big plans to rein in conservative radio talk shows, according to Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla.

He said Thursday on John Ziegler's evening radio show on KFI in L.A. that he overheard Clinton, D-N.Y., and Boxer, D-Calif., saying they want legislation to control conservative radio talk shows.

    What the fools on the left fail to say is that, despite various attempts to get free-market liberal views on the air, nobody wants to hear them.

    Air America failed, despite being all over the country.

    You'll hear these people say that it is some sort of conspiracy by the right to keep the left off the airwaves. This is silly on so many levels:

    1. Broadcast corporations are apolitical. They are interested in, and only in selling advertising. They will carry the programs that will garner them the greatest market share so that they can charge the highest advertising rates. They would broadcast baboons throwing crap at each other if they believed it would generate advertising revenue.

    2. PBS, which is taxpayer funded, can hardly be considered centrist or right-wing. It is, without a doubt, decidedly left-leaning.

    3. Those on the left complain that the right has FOX News. What they fail to mention is that the left has NBC, CBS, ABC and CNN to express viewpoints, which they do as often as possible.

    ...Isn't it amazing that the "liberals" tout the Constitution and the rights it affords us, "personal freedom's", until it applies to them in a way they don't like!

    Silly COLT, the only personal freedom that liberals are interested in is the freedom to abort. They could, of course, help out the world tremendously by self-aborting.

    I've said it before and I'll say it again. Not only are people not responsible enough to handle the Second Amendment, but we, the people, are collectively, as a group, not capable of using the First Amendment responsibly. Hillary is just looking out for you because she knows what is needed to keep you safe and secure. Hillary is just looking out for you.




    Have you seen that Hillary/Soprano bit. The most disturbing part is when Hillary tells Bill "I'm looking out for you." Bill frowns and goes along with her. If it were me I would say "Screw you (insert "B" word that Nunn does not want to see in conjunction with Hillary)! If I want the damn onion rings, I'm gonna eat the damn onion rings!"
