Please check my topic in ask the experts and see if you can answer it because Im not having any luck so far. I figure somebody has got to know it and I used to and cant remember and its driving me crazy.

  Thanks Dheffley somebody got to me on the experts column.It was the 3" Model 13 I was trying to find out about.

  I was just going to post that info..... The FBI issued the Model 13 with a 3" barrel shortly before switching to semi-automatic pistols.
  
  The Model 13 was made between 1974 to 1999.
  
  The next question is.... what did the FBI carry before the Model 13?
