Dinner!

Cubslover
Scalloped potatoes are whats for dinner over here, stuff takes forever. About 1/8 of a fischer ham in there too and two blocks of cheddar cheese sprinkled with Parmesan.

    Caught two nice Mountain Whitefish earlier today. Should make for a nice dinner. Going to roll the fillets in egg and ground up Ritz crackers, and fry 'em.[:)][:p]

    I forgot to measure the fish themselves, but the fillet board is 16" long. The spawn is kicking off now, so my smoker should get a lot of use in the near future.[^]

    Mrs K has a meeting this evening (although I keep hoping that she is really having an affair with some young stud who'll eventually steal her away from me) so my youngest daughter is making dinner. Olivia cooking the evening meal ALWAYS means chicken of some sort.

    It ended up being baked chicken (no surprise), new potatoes, green beans and a garden salad. My daughter started my off with a triple Bookers on the rocks and we shared a bottle of wine so I'm not really sure if the meal was good or not!

    Polska Kielbasa stuffed with Sauerkraut on the gas grill as we speak..
    Give it about 20 minutes and they will be ready to place over the wood fire for about another 5 minutes to smoke a little..

    All should be ready to go by 10:30..[:p]

    Girls are out karate'ing, so I'm having left over roast beef sandwiches with lettuce, tomato, sliced hot onion, mayonnaise and horseradish on my homemade cracked wheat bread. American dill pickles on the side and pineapple upside down cake topped with vanilla ice cream for desert. Crystal Light lemonade to put out the fire.

    Then a little brandy and dozing off watching the idiot box.
