    [8D]--Looks like our temp here in Northern California is 56 deg with 66 deg projected for the day, because of UNSETTLED AIR , with chance of thunder storms--

    I know, the first yr I lived here ('05) the averaged HIGH for the day was -21 with a record low of -41 for the month a december gunnison was the coldest city in the lower 48. 26 out of 31 days.

    last yr felt like fall took hold and winter never came. my sled didn't care for last winter.

    Guess it was different on the other side of the divide. Last year winter came early here, and didn't let go till spring. Snow on the ground ALL winter long. I was not unhappy to see the snow stop, I was wondering where I was going to put any more of it. You can only plow snow so high. I've heard said, it was the worst one in 51 years. There was talk in Denver of putting snow plows on trash trucks. [:0]

    Same up here in N.E. corner picken. It really put a hurt on my carpentry business. I like the snow, but was glad when it stopped.
