Ever Heard Of This Guy?

Pistolsmith named Wilcox who apparently liked to work on Colt revolvers. Had four Wilcox stamped guns come into the local shop. Model 1917 Army with custom triggers, hammers,grips and long barrels. All but one rechambered for smaller high velocity rounds. The one I got today has pearl grips and a 12 inch 218Bee barrel. The craftsmanship is superb, but I am unfamiliar with the name.?????
