I heard a rumor (seriously) that Bloomberg is running for POTUS on his own dime as an independent, sort of like Perot tried to.

Romney is a gun grabber just like Guilliani and McCain. These three stooges are a threat to American freedoms, period.

Oh yeah, I really liked this quote: "I strongly support the Second Ammendment, but I support the Assault Weapons Ban"

    [xx(][xx(][xx(]

The more I watch the debates, the more I like Huckabee....not that he'll ever win [:(]

If a dem president is voted in, we darn sure better have more republicans in the House of reps.It wouldn't hurt if the Senate gained a few republicans seats. If Dubya had gone looking in Afganistan and left Iraq alone we'd all be safer , as far as are guns are concerned.I could be wrong, but I don't see a republican president in are future.

If we end up with a Democratic Congress and President there is no hope remaining for our second amendment rights. Like Schumer said, we will get our turn, and here it comes.

I am amazed that all these anti-gun senators and congressment just get elected time after time by NY, Mass, MI, NJ, CA, IL and other blue states.

The last hope may be if the DC lawyers push the Parker case to the supreme court. IF their decision went our way on the 2nd then making more gun laws would be a dead issue and we might even get some repealed. I know, wishful thinking.

I don't think its wishful, I think its realistic.....

The only thing that troubles me is that it appears that Levy is all by himself in paying for the case....the NRA and others have only expressed interest in "observing" the case if it goes to the SCOTUS.

On the other hand, I know that anti-gun organizations are lining up to give D.C. money to fight the case. They are assembling a sizable
"war chest" and likely a small army of lawyers.

It looks like it'll be David vs. Goliath......

As I understand it, Levy has turned down help from outside organizations (like the NRA). I think he didn't want the baggage they would bring. At any rate, he has some very deep pockets.
