Never even heard of it. Is it a newer design or were you firing something someone found in their attic, so to speak? 0 -
I have one in 20ga. They were made in the 60's to captialize on the TV Cowboy craze that was going on at the time. They were made for kids mostly. 0 -

Ithaca model 66 .I had at least one of each at one time. Now I`m down to just one Buck Buster 12 ga. Nice shooters. 0 -
Being one of the few lever action shotguns ever made, you might not want to shoot it until it breaks. One day, someone that collects oddball single barrels will want it. 0 -
My first shotgun was a 66 12 ga .
Took flack for "only" having one shot .
Told em that's all I need .
Now take flack for only having "two" shots [:)].

The Ithaca Model 66 Super Single is, indeed, an odd gun. I think they're sort of ugly, but fun to shoot. I have a 12 and a .410, and I'm searching for a 20. They're not terribly hard to find, but the price (especially on the .410) keeps going up. I saw one at Tulsa last weekend that had a tag of over $200 (can't recall exact price, but I was surprised). I don't know if it sold. 0
