I know there are a ton of AK47's out there. What should I be looking for in an authentic communist bloc AK-47?

Looks like you are short about 7 feet from having the required 21 linear feet of picatinny accesory rail to be a true assault AK.
other than that it looks like it will hold sub 1/2 MOA
