Such an event could be used for serving another purpose too, if he were decapitated in front of congresional members with his head held high accompained by the shouted words of, No More North American Soviet Union Bullshi* either!

Which is of course exactly what he is hoping for, to become another martyr. I would suggest simply dropping him off at any maxiumum sucurity pen, put him in with the general population (no special cell) and wait for nature to take it's course. He'll be dead in a month with no fan-fare.
