other gun sites
Had to drop another gun site so i'm down to 2 now. How many people post a item for sale and do not put a reserve on it then if they do not get what they thik they should just repost it. Are they just trying to get people to price their items? Seems like the site would be looseing money if their income depends on sales and not postings.
I guess I'm slow to learn, but I just do not understand.[:(!][V][:(!]

I'm hip.
I was looking for a Smith Model 14. Found one for a real good price on a classified site. It was not an auction, just a "Here's a gun for this price" site. I emailed the fella, twice, letting him know I wanted the pistol and heard nothing. Then, Lo and Behold, I see what appears to be the same pistol here on Gunbroker for $25.00 more starting bid. I guess he just needed more money for the gun, but Damn, Man. Let a feller know through an email or something. I just stick with GunBroker now.0 -
They have more excuses than you can imagine. Happened to me at an auction site that I can't mention because the powers to be would delete it. Guy put it up with no reserve and when I was the only bidder at his low price, he wouldn't ship to me because he said he made a "mistake". Happens all the time at ebarf. If the auction isn't bringing what they want, they discontinue the auction. I try to shop now, at a site that shows asking price and hope that it isn't a come-on. Still better than auctions. Welcome to the club. 0
