If you move here, they will insist that you sign a contract that says that you promise to tell anyone you communicate with that: "it's raining again".....and always add between six inches to a foot to any snow report you give.
Oh yeah, we also agree to say that the skies are always grey or black with rainclouds...we never see the sun, and the weathermen have over thirty ways thay can say that it is raining/going to rain.
And they serve Lutefisk at all restaraunts.0 -

BTW... be sure to stop in Tillamook and do the cheese factory tour. Also in that immediate area is the largest free standing wood structure in the U.S.A. (blimp hanger used during the War).0 -
dont know how you feel about seafood, but i always stop by the "bell buoy" in seaside for the best fresh crab, salmon, everything else. they smoke salmon too. 0 -

Be sure and hit Devils Elbow and check out the lighthouse (Heceta head) it is just North or Florence. Stop in Depoe Bay it is the smallest harbor in the world and is a neat place to look around. There is a pod of whales that stay around there all year long. You can see them from Rocky creek just south of Depoe to Boiler Bay just north of Depoe. Enjoy. 0 -
