My New Truck
Dodge Ram 3500 HD Dually, Quad cab, LWB, w/ 6.7 Cummins Turbo Diesel and 6 Speed manual tranny.
Love it, such a smooth ride for a 1 ton dually.
I'm really glad I waited and got the new 6.7 engine. This thing is a beast. Empty, there is no hill you cant top in 6th gear. If you're familiar with Sandstone Mt, you know what a b*tch that is to come up, or down. Every vehicle that Ive ever had would gear down on it. This pup went right up it in 6th gear and never thought twice.
Gotta love the jake brake. Its not a "toy" like I figured it would be, it works, and it works good! Sounds just like the big trucks.[:D]
I love this truck. Had it since Friday and already got 400 miles just playing with it.

Been around before, I think, but still funny and appropriate!
I bought a new Ford F250 Tri-Flex Fuel Truck.
Go figure it runs on either hydrogen, gasoline, or E85.
I returned to the dealer yesterday
Because I couldn't get the radio to work.
The service technician explained that the radio was voice activated.
'Nelson,' the technician said to the radio.
The radio replied, 'Ricky or Willie?'
'Willie!' he continued and 'On The Road Again'
Came from the speakers.
Then he said, 'Ray Charles!', and in an instant
' Georgia On My Mind' replaced Willie Nelson.
I drove away happy, and for the next few days,
Every time I'd say, 'Beethoven,'
I'd get beautiful classical music, and if I said,
'Beatles,' I'd get one of their awesome songs.
Yesterday, some guy ran a red light
And nearly creamed my new truck,
But I swerved in time to avoid him.
I yelled, 'Azz Hole!'
Immediately the radio responded with,
Ladies and gentlemen,
The President of The
United States

We've all seen 'em. The ads for new vehicles touting "no interest loans". Anybody know what the catch is? The small print always says "not all buyers will qualify". I'm suspect that one has to have a large down payment or some other thing that they're not going to disclose until you go to the dealer.I've got my eye on a 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 that I'd love to have. Hate going in to the dealer and play those games only to have them pi$$ me off. I like to be prepared when I walk in the door so I can tell them exactly what I want. Well, I had planned to get mine from Dave Smith but I got a dealer here to give me the deal I wanted. This being the fourth purchase from them, I thought they should. Not to mention I get all service done there. [8D]
I paid 38,800 and made them put a B&W gooseneck in it. Buying that later would put me at $600 plus labor. It was cheaper than going to Idaho. [^]

I'm jelous! When you go by Sam Black Church, let it beller! I think Sandstone is 7% grade and steeper than Fancy Gap Mt. Maybe not as long. 0 -
Sandstone is marked as a 7% grade, but I really think its steeper. A lot steeper. It's nothing to see truckers setting aside with their brakes lit up. You can always tell when they've been down it before.[:D] They do half the speed as the others. 0 -
Well, right now the mileage computer is showing about 13.1, but I'd think it would get better as I get a few more miles on it. 0 -

I know they recommend the auto for towing, now. But some of us are old-fashioned and like to put it in the gear we want. However, an automatic will spoil you!
