It won't let me bid, and it seem to be lagging. Just on my end or what? Nice gun there garanch. Wouldn't mind having that one. 0 -
Never mind. I got it going. 0 -

Feel free to end the auction just any time now [:D]
Seriously, best of luck with this one, it's a nice rifle.0 -
All I get is:
quote: [DBNETLIB][ConnectionWrite (send()).]General network error. Check your network documentation.
Edit-
Never mind ... that's the result I get for anything I search for; Auction side must be having problems.0 -
Looks like the GB web site is down right now. Can't log in at all. 0 -

Maybe it will stay down until I win this auction. [}:)]
not if your luck is like mine[:D]0 -
Thank you all for your replies.
I would like you to critique the auction. I know what I like to see or read when I am buying, but what would you change about my auction? I always like to see alot of pictures but I received a note that I put too many on. What is your opinion?
Thanks0 -

Smaller images. Otherwise, I have to scroll left and right, up and down to view them. Unless it's something that really excites me, too large of images will drive me away from viewing a particular auction. Just my 2 cents. [;)]
The pictures fit OK on my screen but apparently not on everyone's. If you utilize GB photo placement instead of putting them in the description, the auction software will resize them automatically.
There are NOT too many photos for a rifle in this league.0 -
Thanks. I am still figuring out the picture size subject. If I utilize GBs' picture hosting instead of adding them in the text, I have 2 questions:
First, will GB host more than 4, and how do you exercise the option of more than 4.
Second: Does GB charge for more than 4 pictures (if they will host more)?
I agree with you HenryOReilly, when I am buying I want to see all the photos that I can.0 -
definately worth a penny![}:)] Not too many photos (I still have the option of not looking at them all, right?), and I have no problem with the size. Description is clear. To bad I have no use for a .222![:(] Good Luck![^] 0 -
A 14 day auction is awful long to maintain bidders' interest. I say 10 at the most, starting on a Thursday and ending on Saturday. 0 -
I go 7 days. 0 -

No extra charge for multiple pictures but you can only load 4 at a time. Simply open your auction and select "add/remove change pictures"
You can upload directly or utilize hosted photos from elsewhere.
The ideal duration of an online auction is debatable. 14 days ensures the greatest possible exposure but as Saxon points out the "sniper bidders" may lose interest.0 -
No such thing as TOO MANY pictures! You did great....and just remember you can't make everyone happy but it is nice to hear opinions (out of SOME people.) 0 -
Thank you. You brought up a point that I thought about but had no idea as to the length. (auction duration). I am gonna' list some more this next week and I think I will take your suggestion of running them for 10 days.
I never thought about people loosing interest over a 14 day period, but it makes sense.
Thanks again.0 -
Nice auction and rifle. I wouldn't let my Riihimaki 222 go for less than $700! Yours has better wood but mine has better metal. Good luck. You should do fine. 0
