Awesome pix! I get to do my scouting perhaps this weekend, without my sons on my shoulders and back ... at 15 and 18 they should be carrying me. Enjoy your time with your kids, they'll be all grown up before you know it. [^]

Yes I did. I'm so excited I'm already having a difficult time sleeping. I'll be hunting black powder and the season starts 9/8. It took me 11 years to draw this tag. I don't know what they feed them in this area but the bulls are huge! I'll post a picture later of the pond we walked into on this hike.0 -

Good luck with your hunt. My BIL will be hunting Black Powder out there this year also. He also got lucky and drew a New Mexico Archery tag for Elk too. He'll be one busy hunter this year. I tried for muzzle loader in NM but got shut out.[:(!] 0
