To My Democrat Friends:

Please accept with no obligation, implied or explicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2014, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country, nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere . This wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. In God We Trust & God Bless America!

    Merry Christmas to all of the members of Gun Broker and their families. I hope that all of you have had a productive year and that your families are safe and well.

    May the upcoming year be a happy and productive one for everyone here. May God Bless and protect you and yours and provide you with happiness and prosperity.

    For those of you who have family members serving in the US Military, God bless them and may they return home soon. May we all keep US Military members in our hearts and in our prayers.

    Christmas is normally one of my favorite times of the year, but I'd be lying if I said this one was going to be normal. The family is dealing with the loss of 2 loved ones and a missing young girl, so it's going to be very bittersweet.

    I'd give up everything I own if it'd guarantee they find her soon. If you aren't sure what I'm referring to, please see the sticky about the "Local girl missing." Thanks.

    The wife and I did swap our gifts last night. She got me a Milwaukee Brewers Salute to Service jersey. It's of Lorenzo Cain...#6 and the Brewers CF. She done good. [^]

    Regardless of religion this holiday still makes a good reason to gather family together and eat too much. Remember who we have lost, love who we still have, DONT let the kids catch you placing presents under the tree and make sure you remember all of your hiding spots. This year my kids are a little under the weather with a cold..

    But tonight I will read them the polar express, we are watching rudolf the red deer rain nose. Wife is working so Ill let them stay up past their bedtime and hope in vain that they will sleep in...

    Just for fun we have a 7ft inflatable frosty that didnt make it into the yard, tonight I put it in the living room to see if the wife will freak when she comes home from work!!! (she works at a nursing home)

    Well, we were wrapping presents last night and my wife went looking for a bag of clothes and stuff she bought the kids. She can't find it anywhere! She said it was over $70. worth of stuff too. Maybe we'll have a Christmas scavenger hunt. I hope all of you have a great holiday and a great new year.[:)]

    Hard work pays off in the future. Laziness pays off now.
