Dear Santa,
Please forgive my audacity, as I am a long-standing member of your Naughty list, but I am writing on behalf of my Daughter, Crystal, who is as nice as I am naughty.
Crystal is a New Airman, and has been living on the largesse of the USAF for nigh on to 22 months now, and she has managed to save most of her money by not buying a new car or truck, but drives her first car, the thirteen year old pickup that I gave her. It does not have any new wheels, nor a "Thumpin" stereo. Matter-of-fact, nothing but her uniforms have been new in the recent past. She has moved, like all servicemen, several times, and is prepping for a move to Iraq in late Jan. or early Feb. I hear that her quarters in Iraq will be much akin to trailer units, stripped bare, without even sheets or pillows. Since the food is catered by contractors, I think that if there is silverware, it will be poorly washed or it will be plastic. She would appreciate a set that she can take with her wherever she goes, and it will be something New in her life, and it will become familiar in her daily routine. Many of us have a favorite knife, watch, or pen we carry to link us to our home. A K-Bar HOBO set could easily become a familiar partner in her travels, and be portable and useful every day.
Thanks for reading this.0 -

Dear Santa Claus,
Let me first say that I have been very good this year. I have gone to work most days, unless it was hunting season, or just didn't feel like it. I've obeyed all traffic laws, well maybe not if I was in a hurry though. And I'm always nice to my friends on Gun Broker, until they make me mad! So with this proven track record of being really good this year, I am asking for the thing that I want most in the whole wide world... a Ka-Bar Hobo! This would complete my camping gear that I've been spending my allowance on all year long. Thank you Santa for realizing what a good boy I've been and giving me the gift that I want soooo badly.
Your friend, Sav990 -
I was going to try to come up with a good reason to enter for my grandson who is a boy scout and, I believe, is working on becoming an Eagle Scout. They do a lot of camping and it would come in mighty handy for him.
Well, after reading the entry by Handload for his daughter, Crystal, I think she really deserves it more!!!!!
Thanks---Peabo0 -
I can't compete with Airmen and Eagle Scouts. They are certainly more deserving. I respectfully withdraw my request. Heck, who am I tryin to fool, I haven't really been that good this year anyhow. 0 -
Dear Santa,
With all the reindeer you have, I'm sure you know how livestock can be. If delivering all those presents on Christmas Eve is anything like trying to hunt deer on horseback, you have my upmost respect for doing it every year after year. Santa let me ask you this. How many times did you have to do it (deliver packages with reindeer) before you got it right? It must be very hard to control those eight high flyers while your in the house delivering packages and eating cookies. How do you do that? The reason I ask is because the first time I deer hunted on horse back I got off just to look at a deer track. Now keep in mind I didn't have to slide down no chimney or anything like that, just bend down and look. Next thing I know I'm looking at the south end of a fast running northbound horse. I'm sure you know the feeling seeing your ride, your lunch, and all your goodies fading off into the distance. I wish you would let me in on your secret on that one. Another thing I'd like to know Santa is how do you get all eight of those fast stepping critters to stand still while you load that sleigh up? That must really be a trick because all I did was tried to lift a deer onto the back of my horse. What a surprise I got as now I know that my horse was a pro bucking horse in one of her past life's. Needless to say, guns, field glasses, ropes, etc. went flying all over the place, except my lunch. Sure enough, there's that sinking feeling again as I see my ride, and my lunch on a dead run, away from me, again. Could you please let me know how you load things up? And here's one that really bugs me. I know you must keep some element of secrecy while delivering packages as you don't want to wake everyone up while on your rounds. How do you keep your eight reindeer quiet? That must really be tough as I can't seem to keep my horse quiet for anything. Once I had this real nice buck in my sights and for some reason my horse thinks it would be fun to yell hello to him. Well of course deer don't speak horse, so off he went, quickly. Do you speak horse Santa? Maybe you could tell her it's not OK to yell at the deer. And one last thing Santa. Whenever I see a show with you flying thru the sky with all those reindeer, all I hear are sleigh bells. How come I can't hear your silverware rattling around. Maybe it's easy in a sleigh to keep it wrapped up, but if you try to wrap up silverware and put it in a saddlebag, well let's just say you won't find no deer.
Now Santa I know you can't make my horse stand still when I'm off her back, or even while I'm trying to tie a deer on her. And I know you don't speak horse, so you are not going to be able to teach her to shut up. But Santa I think you could help me out with the silverware problem. Seems K-Bar has a real nice folding silverware set they make. I sure would like one of those for myself. And Santa, I'm not a greedy person, so if by chance you could spare two of them, I'm sure my 10 year old son Justin would like one.
Santa it sure would be nice to get a deer this year. Please help me out!
Thank you,
Scott in Iowa
P.S. Santa, if by chance you do speak horse, please go to the barn and the horse with the cookies in front of her stall, please tell her to shut up from now on!
Thanks!
Thanks for the chance!

Dear Santa, I am writing on behalf of Sav99, requesting he receive a swell Ka-Bar Hobo in his stocking. He does wear stockings sometimes, but really he can't help it. Lord knows he has tried to stay away from... Well, enough to say that he as been very, very good this year (how bad could a virgin be after all?) taking care of his elderly step-mother, his ungrateful sister and her husband on welfare, while still finding time to teach the nephew he loves to hunt and fish like fathers taught sons in the old days, before nylons were even invented, and he didn't teach his nephew about the nylons, and really he is trying very hard. He certainly is deserving, and good, almost like an Eagle scout with no troop to call his own. Thank you Santa, on behalf of Sav99, He Dog 0 -

Dear Santa, I hope this letter finds you. Hobo Billy Bob said he would carry it north on the rails and pass it along. I am a 3rd generation Hobo and proud of my profession. I however have an affliction known as "Hobo Finger". I am unable to reach my finger into my pork and bean can (our main staple food) farther than 1/3 of the way. As you can imagine this causes many problems not the least of which is starvation and lack of minerals and essential Hobo vitamins. I have tried several contrived apperatuses but to no avail. Seeing the KaBar Hobo brought hope into my otherwise sad and dismal existence. OH to hear the scrape of a KaBar knife and fork against the bottom of a can! Oh to be able to cut the mold from my loaf of bread instead of tearing it off like an uncouth heathen! Music to my ears. I am trying to help my Hobo nephew to realize his heritage and to embrace this noble existence known as "Hoboism". This has been a challenge becasue he to has "Hobo Finger". This is a hereditary malady that I am sure the KaBar Hobo will fix. This would allow him to be immeresed into our rich and colorful history and allow our legacy to lice live on. To be able to break out the "fancy" Van Camps pork and beans on Christmas would truly be legendary. Santa, our fate, our very way of life rests in your hands. I am sure you know our way of life, this intregal cog of America is fast fading into lore and folk tale. Help us to keep the dream alive! Your faithful friend, Hobo B.
NICE GIVEAWAY. THANK YOU.0 -
Dear Santa,
I NEED a Ka-Bar Hobo, since I will be living in a nice cardboard box. My wife found my list of naughty Little Girls. For the past 40 years or so I have only asked Santa for one thing. Remember? I'll refresh your memory, Your list of Naughty Little Girls!! Well, I hi-jacked the list of naughty little girls from The official North Pole Computer. You should have a better security package. Thanks alot. You could have saved me alot of time if you just would have given it to me as I had asked for that 40 years. Now my wife found the list and a cardboard box is in my near future!
Merry Christmas Santa, I'll leave your usual bottle of Vodka out for you!!0 -

Look you Fat Bearded Bastar*, I know your giving them away cause they are used and wore out by you using them so much. Your a liar santa cause you are exchanging yours out of your saddle bag and keeping the new ones just like you did for my bike when you delivered it. BTW the huffy had a bent rim you cheap SOB . And the next time you smell like alcohol I am going to have my sister kick you in the ornaments. I can't take them knives to school so give them to some adult on GunBroker and I will just read about who it is. In the meantime I am handloading some shotgun shells to burn your a** with when you fly by. I also saw you with Ms. Clause and she looks like one of the centerfolds in Daddy's nasty magazines under the bed. I think I will show Mom the picture I took of her and see if she knows her. 0 -
Dear Santa,
Handload's daughter Crystal could really use this. I've got a couple of sporks that I can get by with. Should you choose my name, please send "my" set to Crystal.
Thank you.
Merry Christmas

Cool. I'm in, and thanks for the opportunity!
Dear Santa,
As you know, I am a big fat guy. I got this way by eating everything I could find. In doing so, I have worn out most of my eating utinsels. I also sometimes find myself with the opportunity to eat on the go, but have nothing to eat with. Mom always said eating with my hands was not the thing to do, so to resolve all of the problems listed above, I am asking for the KaBar Hobo.
Hope you will consider me.0 -
Dear Santa,
I am writing this letter to let you know what I would like for Christmas and why I should have it. I have really had my heart set on one of those KA-BAR Hobo knives. I have been a pretty good kid this year, or so my family says. I have tried not to shoot too many cats with the pellet gun, and have only pissed a few folks off. Now for the reasons I really need the knife.
My last knife is no longer of any functioning use. I cannot open a beer bottle with it, since I broke the beer bottle opener thingy using it to pry the lock off the beer cooler. The cooler was locked because wifey thought I was makin too many trips to it. I have sharpened the blade so many times it is better suited as a toothpick now than anything else. The old one never did have a spoon on it, so I have always had to eat my fried cat soup with my fingers. Having this new KA-BAR Hobo knife would greatly improve my abilities to survive in the hostile environment that I am subjected to. Did I mention that the blade on the old knife is no longer good for skinning the cats?
If you could see fit to send me one of them fine KA-BAR Hobo knives I promise to try and be better this coming year. I will only take feral cats, and not bother the neighbors cats anymore. Also, I will slow down on the beer consumption. Of course, I will have to stay awake longer each day, since I will be drinking slower. Anyway, whatever you decide, I think you are the greatest. Your friend, Dave0 -

Dear Santa -
Please consider me for the giveaway - I am broke and broke down here in El Paso. I need a Harley Tool like you are givin' away: the knife part is good for gapping the spark plugs, opening Harley Oil Cans, cuttin hose to make anti-rattle guards for all the parts that like to vibrate, unscrewing tire valves, Whittlin a corncob pipe (and to shave the cheap plug tobacco to smoke in the pipe), and slicing the vegetables and fruit I gotta eat to make my cholesterol down.
The Spoon part helps in measuring fork oil into the tubes, mixin' Magic Marvel Mystery Motor oil into the crankcase and the fuel tank, along with eating the oatmeal that I gotta eat to get my cholesterol down.
The Fork part is good to turn the keyswitch to start the scoot, good for handing fruit to my newest seatcover in a mannerly way, and allows me to open beer bottles without visits to the dentist. It is also great for keepin folks from stealing the sausages I like to eat when nobody's looking!
The back part of the Hobo would be great for tamping the pipe, bustin windows, hammering in tent pegs and suchlike.
Sure would make my Christmas!
Thanks,0 -
