Nothing I need or want but going anyway.
Going to gun shows is about the only thing I do for fun any more so I am off to the local show. There's nothing I need or even particularly want at this point in my life (well, having a Thompson or a Royal Grade H&H double rife would be really neat but not realistic given my limited financial resources) but I still enjoy looking at all the beef jerky, camo pattern bikinis and Nazi memorabilia on display. Who knows, may even see a few guns being offered for sale... at ridiculous prices.

that is the same way go into a gun show, Not looking for anything in particular (that way I wont be dissapointed when I dont find it) and am mainly going for the fun of it and see some friends.
I mostly fail to escape without a firearm or two and more odds and ends then I can carry by the time I leave though[8D]0 -

You never know what may pop up. The last gun show I went to was about 6 months ago. I stumbled across an 1873 Winchester with scrollwork on the receiver. After a bit of negotiating, I bought it for $700. The scrollwork turned out to be factory engraving and was lettered by the Cody Museum. I sold the rifle here on Gunbroker the following weekend for $2,000.
