I'm trying to find a gun that uses these and for the life of me don't remember what it is called, parlour guns come to mind. My fathers wife has a few of them but they are out of the country right now and thought someone here could tell me.[?]

Any single shot .22 will do. I used a Ithica model 49, great size to teach kids. Beware, extensive shooting of the short cased ammo will potentially ruin the chamber for longer cases .22 r, .22 lr. 0 -

I don't know what your purpose is, but if it's plinking you may consider a quality air gun. I have a rifle and pistol, they're very accurate, and I shoot them in the basement and the back yard. Ammo is certainly cheap, and the neighbors aren't bothered when I shoot outside. CBs are probably $5-$7 per 50. 0 -
