"Bonanza" Winchester

I was watching an episode of "Bonanza" on TV Land this afternoon. It was entitled "Night of Reckoning" and guest-starred Richard Jaeckel (from "The Dirty Dozen"). He was a bad guy holding Hoss, Little Joe and Candy hostage in the ranch house. He was holding a fancy Model 1892 Winchester rifle decorated with brass tacks. I'm sure it was the same Winchester used by Jim West in "The Wild Wild West". Has anyone else seen that episode and do you agree or disagree? It was probably a Stembridge rental and the Cartwrights had a few fancy guns. I couldn't find a picture of Jaeckel holding the rifle but I found one with Jim West holding his Winchester. Just curious.
