Chrome Lined Barrels Rust?
I am looking in a chrome lined chamber of an AK47 and I see rust...[V][:(!][:(!][V]

I've got a '70 Chevelle with a little of chrome bumper rust. Chrome isn't a total cure for rust, just a good protector of your barrel (or my bumper)! 0 -
Rifle bores/chambers are hard chromed, car bumpers are decorative chromed. These are actually different processes.
Hard chrome is much more corrosion resistant, but still not rust proof.0 -
i'm shocked that anyone can say that they let the inside of a gun barrel rust and still post on this forum [:D] shoot safely and shoot often 0
