    If they would just amalgamate and add their culture to our own, but adopt most of the anglo-saxon culture of the US, then the anchor baby clause wouldn't bother me. But they don't; they form an inpenatrable enclave. It took WW1 to de-germanify the USA, what will it take to get the Mexicans to blend in?

    On the other hand, my dad has two students (about 25, in a grad program at Cleveland State) from China in his class, both of whom have applied for US citizenship and who have 2 children- the parent's names (no idea on spelling) are Guang and Shi-fong, and the kids? Larry and Kimberly. THEY know that the way to get ahead is to learn the ways, get a good education, do everything legally, and blend in. And I welcome them, and anyone who wants to do the same!
