First of all, no seller requires approval from any of us regarding how he sells or how much he asks.
Second, making fun of sellers or criticizing auctions probably shouldn't be done on the forums (and yes, I know I have been guilty in the past but I am trying to get better).
Third, Cartod appears to be the winning bidder at $400,000. He may think this is a joke but GB will not find it funny. Your bid is a contract to purchase and if you don't plan to actually complete the sale then you have absolutely NO BUSINESS BIDDING. Cartod could find his account suspended for this prank. It was a very bad idea.0 -

Outcome: I got a 2nd job and own a used but haunted Ruger. ..[:D]...And my account is suspended. [B)]. I hope no one comes and takes away the guns I already have. Just got back from vacation, I wonder how long the suspension will be? Will they also suspend my forum account? 0 -

Auction side and forum are separate entities. I don't know for sure but I doubt that your forum membership will be affected. Did they give you any hint of the suspension duration? No mention of length of time makes me wonder if it's permanent. I would wait 30 days and see if you are reinstated. Try again after 45 days. If still a no go at that point I would contact them with apologies and ask if you can come back.
Making joke bids is no joke to them. That agreement you signed when you registered including a notice that bids are considered legally binding contracts. They don't take joke bids lightly. I hope you get your membership back after what they consider a suitable "time out."0 -

I did meet the reserve! It must have been how the GB fixed it so there was no final fee for the seller.
