anyone here familiar with it I am just more comfortable with i tunes because I am not that familiar with limewire

Cant find the thread this was on. Someone mentioned that certain files were suspicious and said to avoid downloading those.

Can you explain this a little further????????

Depends on what you download and open without verifying first... at least, thats my experience with the Linux client, which is java based. They do also have a generic java client, so you could run just that.

Furthermore, it is open source software [8D][8D][8D]. You can easily download the source code (free and Free) and the development tools to compile it (also free, and becoming more Free) and just compile your own version...
