Jinma tractors

Any body have one or have first hand experience with one? I want a small tractor but can't find any decent used name brand ones in my price range around here. On of the local tractor dealers now carries the jinma line. So if anybody knows give me the good, bad and ugly about them.

    I looked at them before buying a Kubota. Parts were hard to find and someone to work on them harder. Resale is bad. Sorry for the bad news.

    How long ago was that? There is a dealer about 25 miles from me or I would not even consider them. If I could find a good used kabota I'd go that route but they are almost non existent around here.

    I bought a smaller Kubota off fleabay. John Deere dealer had a Jimna and knew the owner and was selling it for him. JD dealer had a Jimna 30 horse used with like 100 hours on it. Dealer said they were junk and was trying to sell it for about 1/4 of what a John Deere cost. No takers. Said he would never take another one in on trade.

    I bought a 35 Horse Kubota off fleabay at a steal. Had to go to Florida and get it but saved a bundle. It was an 04' with 19 hours still under warranty. New was 18K for the tractor and loader. Guy had a pto 13K generator that went with it , along with a rake, the tractor and loader. Total package new would have been 20K. I gave him $12K. Be patient and buy a good used JD, Kubota or Ford.

    Look into a MF, they are solid little tractors. We have 3 with over 6000 hours on them

    Shop around, I bought a used MF 135 diesel back in august for $5,300.00 and it's a nice little tractor for keeping property clean. I THINK they have 38 horse power. I also got a new bush hog W/ clutched PTO shaft, a used 4 foot grader blade, and a new can hook for $1210.00. I hear Massey's are one of the cheapest to repair and to get parts for. I've only replaced 2 things on it but both times they were A LOT cheaper than i expected and i had them them shipped in, once to my house the next day and once to a dealer in 2 days. good luck tractor huntin!

    Lathe and Mill, but I'm still flip flopping on selling them. I don't use them much I still wind up taking every thing to work. much nicer machines there and as long as I do it on my own time it's cool.

    Look at the Massey. They have a lot of bang for the buck.

    I think you can find a MF that will suit your needs in that price range. Check out the fastline website and do a search for your area. You should be able to find an MF tractor with loader already on it for around 6-7, buy a 1000 bushhog and then find a cheap tiller.
