We have a pretty decent mud bog about 15mi. away, and they started
another that's about 2mi. away last weekend. Haven't been over there
yet, but could hear them running from the house here. Gotta love a
motor ya can hear well from 2mi. away.[:D][8D][:D]
Edited to add: wasn't a full blown mud bog but used to
occasionally race rail buggies on a fairly muddy strip.
Lottsa fun!!0 -

we used to do the real deal mudbogs, get a bunch of us with 4x4s together on a fri/sat night and start riding the trails, picking and choosing the holes we want to try... by the end of the night everyone was covered from head to toe, i was the involuntary chain man, i'd get out of the bed of the truck and dive under to hook the chain when someone got stuck, 38" + tires makes for a DEEP hole to have to hook a chain in 0 -

There was trucks there, that had to have a PUMP on a seperate truck just to have enough fuel to run it..
they were HUGE, ever seen bigfoot? this dudes ONE wheel cost over 1500 (tire and all). thats just my guess. people said alot more - the tires were worth more than the truck.
I seen a truck fly around in the mud, hit a patch, go under, let off the gas and it sucked in water + mud
he blew his motor, and got mad when i offered him 50$ for his truck xD0 -
we were a bunch of broke highschool kids slapping together some beaters with big tires that we moved in the dark of night and cover of mud, heck i don't think we had 1500 bucks in a whole truck and went through some outrageous stuff, but i've been to the big bogs with the high dollar apparatus... 0 -
It ain't a mudbog truck unless it's got an open cab. 0 -

i used to have a bench seat from a pick up bolted to bed of my '64 chevy long bed facing towards the tailgate, you can even use the seat belts if you get fancy with it, mine didnt have 'em in a '64 so just get a newer model 0
