In for a penny, in for a pound
I bought another M1A at the FALfiles Marketplace last night. Armscorp receiver and all USGI parts except for a (described as) crisp two stage SA (Genesseo) trigger group.
The seller states, and I believe him, that he is a US Army sniper with two tours in the sand that he can discuss, Afghanistan and Iraq. More to his credit he is a student of CJ and is aspiring to a possible career with the ATF in his future. It took little to no effort to thank this young gentleman for his service and express my sincere hopes that there may soon be someone employed by the ATF that knows what the hell the difference is between an assault weapon and a semiauomatic.
It is also encouraging to know that the fate of this nation may not be in the hands of the social club at your favorite take-out restaurant.
Anyway, I have a real M1A on the way for the price of a Springfield (Genesseo), and a pristine kit.
