Henry, the easiest thing to do is lift the entire mossberg off the table, and slide a Remington under it.[:D]

Even so, I can't believe this gun is only bringing $103 ($78 + $25 shipping)

It's been awhile since I priced them but they were around $200 retail here in central Indiana.

Wow! For 200.00 I can get a rem.875. I was a little surprised that both were priced that cheap. The store is called sports authority. They are cheaper than walmart.

And the one you buy new for $149.95 will have a 3" chamber rather than being an old one with 2 3/4" chamber and cut off stock with a recoil pad added on to it.

Sports authority here in MI stopped selling firearms AND hunting equipment. (I was never thrilled by their prices either)
I also doubt it is a Mossberg for $149.00, my bet it is a Maverick/by Mossberg, not the same as a Mossberg 500.

Mossberg 500 was my first new shotgun! ...WAY back when ...My firing pin went "south" the first 2 weeks I had it, had to get a new pin and install it myself. These shotguns don't appreciate much, but I still have mine and still use it when I'm mountain quail hunting. They are light and dependable ...for the most part. I've only lost one firing pin is 40+ years! As I remember it was not a hard installation. Good Luck!

Military tests prove that that would be a bad Idea... The Mossberg 500 is a true Work Horse.....Nuff Said!!!
